Day 53 - May 24th, 2024

A day off because I overslept yesterday 😩. 10lb weights throughout (the highest I've got at home)

10lb for rows/squats, 20lb for woodchopper/round-the-worlds

Had to take round 4 off to rest, but came back strong for the last 3!

10lb hand weights were certainly enough! But had to go down to 5s for the seated double flys. Also modified the last exercise, because reaching down to the floor and pushing back up to the bench was too much for my wrists. Just did pushups against the bench and the jacks. 

This was one of those workouts where it felt really awkward and like I wasn't doing any of the moves right the first round, but got so much better and was able to push out more reps with each round (well, until the last one, lol!) Great workout!!

Love my makeshift at-home workout bench, haha!

Split squats & calf raises - 2 rounds each with no weight, 5 lbs & 10lbs

Step-up lunges - no weight (was hard to do these with only my couch as the step-up cuz it's kinda squishy, lol!)

Day 48 - May 19th, 2024 (postponed a day due to road travel)

TBH, I despised this workout, lol! Got HR up to about 160 (zone 3, per my Apple Watch). I was feeling dizzy and had to stop in round 5. 😵‍💫

Did at home using 10lb hand weights. Several modifications on this one - eliminated the child's pose and just did side lunges; held the table on the last round; and yeah...a push-up is rarely the "break", lol! But I did do them full body, not modified on my knees!!! 👏

8lb, 10lb, 10lb, 12lb, 15lb (only 2 reps w/the 15s)

18/20lb for triceps
