The weeks have been piling up and the work load in the body. Month 5 is challenging me physically and emotionally. More moments of breaking and trying to convince myself to keep going. A slow day is needed to balance off the intensity.

Pistol squats are on my bucket list of exercises. They are incredibly challenging, requiring a good range of mobility in the hip and extension in the leg, balanced with quad and core strength. We will all get there with practice.

I focus on the rhythm and block everything else out. It's always helped me get into the zone. I let each portion of the squat and drop hit a beat in the music and then focus on maintaining the rhythm.
