Quick question - is it uncooked quinoa in the peach/blueberry recipe? (given the amt of liquid and cook time, I assume it is but wanted to check). Would love to make as I have ripe peaches and fresh picked wild blueberries :) By the way, great newsletter this month! I definitely needed to reminder (...again!!....) about motivation - LOL. Resuming hiiting play today after another hiatus of a few days. It's incredible how life can get in the way -- so I'm exercising early this morning and plan to continue early morning sessions. Hopefully that will help ;)

Love this post. It is so easy sometimes to get caught up in the loop of negativity. I agree 100% that any small positive action/thought has rippling effects to other areas. Love the toolbox analogy & the reminder treat ourselves with kindness, & to keep trying new/different tools as we continue trucking along our own individual health & fitness journeys!

Tried the dark chocolate breakfast smoothie for breakfast yesterday as I did have kefir in the fridge to use up... I've never been a smoothie for breakfast kinda gal... but it was so filling and tasty. This along with a bowl of veggie rice soup (& a cup of morning coffee!) satisfied me until late afternoon when I had veggies/nuts for a before dinner snack. (the oatmeal cookie smoothie is another favourite of mine - yum!!!). Didn't give up coffee this go around. Great challenge - thanks for all the great ideas Amy!
