It's cold. I got to bed late last night and am DOG TIRED. I hate a kitten. I could NOT drag myself to the gym this morning, so squeezing this one into a rest day from Lift Max Week 1, since I could do it in my living room. Still struggling with push ups after more than a year of workouts, but I KNOW I've come far from when I started. Always more distance to go...

Bench stand-ups: 12s/15s/20s

Leg raises: no weight (won’t stay on my ankles 🫤) but added medium purple band

Deadlifts: 20s/25s/30s

Wide squats: 20s/25s/30s (TRIED 30s, but hands couldn’t hold them for long 😣)

Wall sits: 20/25/30

At dad's house for Thanksgiving - highest weight available is 12lb hand weights and no bench, so did all these glute movements from the floor. For Tabatha, used light hand weights - 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s.

I'm not a runner, but I've been taking dance classes and I wonder if the IT band issue plays a role in being able to do splits and kicks??

The university’s closed for Thanksgiving, so had to make do with what I had at home - 20lb hand weights. Not the best workout for me because working at home offers too many distractions, and an easy option to quit 😕. But, I did about half of it 🤷🏻‍♀️

KB swing, rack & press: 10/15/19KBs (I get SO aggravated with these b/c I can swing more weight but it hurts my wrists to rack the KBs 😣)

Rows: Round 1 - 15s til broke then 12s; Round 2 - 12s til broke then 10s; Round 3 - 9s

Burpees: no weights

Squats: 15s; left knee was tweaking so 2nd round did no weight, 3rd round sumos

High knees: stepped it but added bicep curls 5s/6s/7s/8s/8s/7s/6s/5s

Side lunges: 25/30KB

Turkish getups: 10s

Deadbugs: 10s/8s

Only had time to do two rounds.

I, also, did not want to adult today. I woke up at 3:30am (WAY TOO EARLY!) but lounged in bed with foster kitten until alarm went off at 5am. Had to get moving so I could CLEAN THE SNOW OFF MY CAR 🤮🤮🤮 and get to the gym, which thankfully was open. But inwardly, I think today should have been a “close the university snow day”. Ah well…

Guilty pleasure binge movies: Mean Girls, The Holiday & The Princess Bride. Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Core - side leg lifts & rollouts (I used sliders)

Chest/back - side pushups/back extensions with band

I was severely breaking in this workout, too. Could barely do any of the “yoga burpees”, maybe one per round and a lot of plank resting between.
